Weekly Wrap-Up

This is for the week of November 29th-December 5th. I read 6 books which brings my yearly total to 351. These books totaled 2,172 pages.

Master of Poisons By: Andrea Hairston

I gave this fantasy book 3 stars. This is about the world and the changes that are happening. Like the water being poisoned. This is happening by magic, and nothing seems to be able to stop it.

Rebel Sisters By: Tochi Onyebuchi

I gave this sequel 3 stars. It is the last book in a duology. I liked the first book better. This book takes place after the war and Nigeria is recovering.

The Diva Wraps It Up By: Krista Davis

I gave this cozy mystery 4 stars. It isn’t the first book but there was enough information to not feel confused. This one happens to be a Christmas Mystery. I enjoyed it and was glad it was a Christmas themed book. This book is about a small town and how this year the neighborhood decides to have a house decorating contest. Things go crazy and one of the neighbors is killed. You are given many details about each neighbor and maybe they murdered the neighbor or not, but you have to continue reading through the clues to figure it out. It was fun. Favorite book of the week.

Agnes Grey By: Anne Bronte

I gave this classic 3 stars. I read this book for the Reindeer Readathon as a standalone and audiobook.

Last Redemption By: Matt Coyle

I gave this book 4 stars. It is the last book in the Rick Cahill Series. I have a review up for this. Here is the link. https://debbiesreadingcorner.com/2021/12/03/last-redemption-book-review/

The Boy, The Wolf, and The Stars By: Shivaun Plozza

I gave this book 2 stars. I read this book for the animal companion for The Merry Bookmas Readathon. I have a review up for this book. Here is the link. https://debbiesreadingcorner.com/2021/12/06/the-boy-the-wolf-and-the-stars-book-review/
