Introduction

Hi, and welcome to my blog.

Here’s a little about me: My name is Debbie. I am a mother of six children, Grandmother of seven grandchildren, and have 2 grandchildren who technically are not mine, but through adoption, I am including them to make 9 grand kids in total. Another important part of my life is books. I grew up around books, and I have been reading for as long as I can remember. The first place I go searching for in a new area is the library and/or book store. I don’t have a favorite genre, but I do tend to lean towards mysteries of all sorts.

Why I started this blog: In the last year I have started getting e-arcs from NetGalley and need to review them, so I need a place to write them and keep my reviews. I also just want to have fun and communicate with others who also love to read. I really don’t want to do a YouTube channel because I am not comfortable in front of a camera, so I figured this was better option for me.

What I want to do with this blog: I would like to book reviews, but also do some other things like book hauls, book tags, a weekly wrap-ups. I might try other things too; like if I read a cozy mystery that has recipes, I might try making the recipe and give a review on that. I have also thought of doing a book and movie review to compare the book and movie versions of a story, but I haven’t decided yet. I would love input from you if you have any ideas.
