For the week of July 28th to August 3rd I was able to read 7 books. This brings my yearly total to 206 books read. These books totaled 2,286 pages. My life is starting to get back on track, so I hope to continue reading like I am use too.

Brigham Young By: Susan Evans McCloud
I gave this book 4 stars. This is about the life of Brigham Young and how he joins the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints. There wasn’t much I didn’t already know.

Maria By: Michelle Moran
I gave this book 4 stars. I have a review for this book. Here is the link. https://debbiesreadingcorner.com/2025/07/30/maria-book-review/

The Games Gods Play By: Abigail Owen
I gave this book 3 stars. The Gods love to play games and every 100 years we let them. This year I am chosen and things couldn’t be worse because Hades decides to join in for the first time and he has chosen me.

Savvy Summers and the Sweet Potato Crimes By: Sandra Jackson-Opoku
I DNF’D this book at 51%. I was upset about too. I love me a cozy mystery story and sadly this book didn’t do it for me.

Tell me What You Did BY: Carter Wilson
I gave this book 4 stars. Poe host a popular true crime podcast. She invites people to anonymously confess their crime. One day she invites the person who killed her mom or is he because she thought he was supposed to be dead.

Atmosphere By: Taylor Jenkins Reid
I gave this book 4 stars. Joan loves the stars and would love to see closer. But no woman has been allowed. Then in 1979 and 1980 the applications have opened up for women to apply. She applies and doesn’t get in the first time around but is able to get in the second time around. Taylor does an excellent job describing what needs to be done to go up in outer space. I love the story she tells and the effect it had on me.

The Sittaford Mystery By: Agatha Christie
I gave this book 3 stars. Six people gather for a seance, and a chilling message is revealed, and tension comes to the six.
