Weekly Wrap-Up

These are the eight books that I read for the week of June 23rd-June 29th. This brings my yearly total to 180 books. Total number of pages read is 2,989 pages.

All We Were Promised By: Ashton Lattimore

The Seven Dials Mystery By: Agatha Christie

A practical joke goes wrong. Gerry loved to sleep so his house guests decided to play a joke on him which didn’t end well. I gave this book 3 stars.

Murder of an Amish Bridegroom By: Patricia Johns

This is a new cozy mystery series that just came out. I gave this book 4 stars.

A young old maid helps her friend and the police to figure out who killed the Amish man that her friend was seeing. Things aren’t what they seem and there are secrets being kept. All to say who killed this Amish man and why?

A Prophet’s Voice: Messages from Thomas S. Monson

I gave this book 4 stars. Talks given by him at conferences and other meetings that he attended. I have heard or read some of these before.

Wrath By: John Gwynne

I gave this book 5 stars. The battle is coming to an end. Who will win? There are quite a few surprises in this final book.

The Water Tower By: Amy Young

Specters in the Glass House By: Jaime Jo Wright

I gave this book 4 stars. It is a dual timeline; 1921 and present day.

It’s prohibition time and Marian is struggling with it and the death of her parents.

Remy is researching to uncover the truth behind Marian mysterious life and some unsolved murders.

Shady Hollow By: Juneau Black

I gave this book 4 stars. This was a fun read and a different take on cozy mysteries. Forest animals as characters with real people jobs and lives. Can’t wait to continue on with the series.
