Book Review:

I really enjoyed this book, and I gave it 4 stars. This is a fast read, and it gets you involved right away. I like the friendships in this book and how they support each other.

In this book Josie is back in her hometown taking some time off from her acting career. The year before she had a terrible happen and she is still dealing with it. She has talked the principal of the high school into letting her teach some acting classes. She has always had sleeping issues and it seems to be getting worse. One night she got up to brew herself some tea to see if that would help her sleep. While the water is heating up, she looks out her window and sees something flash, but she isn’t sure. She just let’s it go. In the morning, she goes for usual jog and on her short cut to her house she sees something on the ground. When she goes to look, she finds one of her students dead. She calls the police right away. She is questioned and then allowed to go home. She happens to know the officer who questioned her; they use to date in high school. Later she finds out the student had a drug in her system and was pregnant. Everything is looking like it was her boyfriend might have something to do with it. Then one day the boyfriend also has an overdose and now what is the town going to do. Things are getting weird, and the town wants everything to be quite and so the investigation is stopped. Josie can’t let it go and so she and her friends start doing a little investigation of their own. Can they find out the truth or is it really just drugs causing all the problems in this small town.
