
For the week of May 26th-June 1st I was able to read 11 books. I was in the middle of a few before the week started and pushed to get them read by the end of May. This brings my yearly reading total to 153 books. These books totaled 2,767 pages.

The Amish Quiltmaker’s Unconventional Niece By: Jennifer Beckstrand
I gave this book 4 stars. Mattie is sent to her aunt’s because she hired a lawyer to help get the people who are dumping garbage onto her father’s land. While she is there, she decides to run for the town council because of the discrimination against them. On my May TBR.

Monstress Volume 9: the Possessed By: Marjorie Liu
I gave this graphic novel 4 stars. Maika and her friends have returned back to their world. A year has passed, and they have no idea what has happened. Mood Read.

Board to Death By: CJ Connor
I gave this new cozy mystery 4 stars. Ben is back to run his families store and to take care of his ill father. A local toy and game collector is found dead in front of the shop and Ben is a suspect. On my April TBR

Leeva at Last By: Sara Pennypacker
I gave this book 4 stars. Leeva wants to know what people are for. She gets help from a young boy at the library. This book is a lot like Matilda. This was on my May TBR.

Pax By: Sara Pennypacker
I gave this book 4 stars. This was on my April TBR. Pax is a fox. He was rescued when he was little by the boy Peter. One day Peter has to return Pax to the wild, because of the war. But Peter isn’t happy and goes to find him again. Meanwhile Pax is waiting for him and has some adventures and soon discovers himself.

Merry Ever After By: Tessa Bailey
I gave this book 3 stars. This was on my December 2024 TBR. A single mom who sews for a living. A giant farmer who can’t find clothes that fit.

All By My Elf By: Olivia Dade
I gave this book 3 stars. This was on my December 2024 TBR. Nina and William are adjunct professors at the same University. One day they end up stranded by a blizzard after doing a side job.
