Book Review:

I am sad to say that I didn’t love this book. I came close a couple of times of DNFing it. I did end up giving it 3 stars. I loved Lucy’s chapters and the struggles she had trying to find out the information she wanted on Nancy and her friend. I didn’t love or even liked Nancy’s chapters. I felt like Nancy didn’t know what she wanted and once she got something it wasn’t what she wanted. She sounded more like a child or teen instead of an adult. The Nancy chapters were also very long and seemed to drag on and Lucy’s chapter were to the point and short. I do enjoy a WWII story and there was the twist of two of the sisters who were on the Germans side even the mother was leaning that way.
