Book Review:

I really enjoyed this book. I gave it 4 stars. This is the first book in this cozy mystery series that I read, and I didn’t feel like I missed anything. The authors did a great job of giving you enough information, so you didn’t feel lost. With that being said I do recommend that you read the books in order.

In this book a food critic is found dead, and a renowned chef is the prime suspect. The chef is Cooper’s boyfriend’s uncle. He has asked for Cooper and the Hope Street bible study group to help investigate to clear his uncle’s name.

I really like the family and friends in this story and how they help each other and back each other up. I love the way that Cooper is willing to help a young teen girl who got herself into trouble and needs a chance.
