Book Review:
This is the second book in the Sisters of Salem series. I gave this book 4 stars. It starts off within a couple of days where book one left off. Hunter is still grieving from the loss of her mother and her god that she had to forsake because Mercy thought he was the reason that the gates wouldn’t close. After realizing that wasn’t the case Mercy felt bad, and Hunter wouldn’t forgive her. Mercy befriends a guardian of gate by the palm tree that is dying, and Hunter has left home and is listening to another goddess since her god isn’t answer her calls. Hunter’s goddess isn’t who she says she is, and Hunter is now trying to get rid of her. Mercy isn’t listening to Hunters calls of help because she focused on the gates. Mercy finds herself in trouble when she is able to visit the world of the guardian. Can her sister and familiar get to her time to save her and the world? You will have to read the book.
