Weekly Wrap-Up

These are the books that I read for the week of January 6th-January12th. The books that are turned around are the books that I read as an e-book or audiobook. I read a total of 8 books which brings my yearly total to 10 books. These books totaled 2,199 pages. I am still in the middle of several books and hope to have them finished next week.

All the Summers in Between By: Brooke Lea Foster

I gave this book 3 stars. This was an audiobook that I was supposed to read in the summer. This is about two ladies who get back together after many years. Something happened one summer and one went away until she needs help again.

Four Eids and a Funeral By: Faridah Abike Iyimide

The Islamic center has burned down, and the town wants to remove the remaining pieces. Two ex-friends are trying to figure out a way to save what is remaining and get it rebuilted. I gave this book 4 stars. This was an audiobook.

I Survived: The Great Alaska Earthquake, 1964 By: Lauren Tarshis

I gave this book 4 stars. This is a great way to learn some history. My boys have always loved these books, and I also enjoy reading them.

Fantasticland By: Mike Bockoven

I gave this book 3 stars. Ever wonder what you would do if you were stuck at an amusement park during a hurricane? Well, this book might give you some ideas. This was an audiobook.

Nothing but Blackened Teeth By: Cassandra Khaw

I gave this book 3 stars. I read this book for the winterween readathon. This was for the challenge of reading in the dark or at night. This was okay. It is about a group of people who are looking for someone and they find something they weren’t expecting.

Shards and Ashes Edited by: Melissa Marr and Kelley Armstrong

I gave this short story collection 4 stars. I really enjoyed all the stories in this collection. All the stories are set in a dystopian world. Every story is different yet and you don’t want to put the book down until you finish the story because you want to know what will happen.

Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you think of them? Let’s chat in the comments below. Until next time, keep reading.
