For today’s post I am going to repost reviews from a series I read a while back. I read this series in October of 2021.
The Girl In 6E review
This is a very interesting book. It is not one I would have picked out to read for myself.
It is a book club read.( I am in three different book clubs.)
This book started out with very detailed information, so beware.
She is a cam girl. For those of who don’t know what that is it is a way to make money
at home using your computer and the internet. Trying not to be graphic in detail.
I think the author was very adequate in his information. The lady who is the main character
is young and has locked herself in her apartment because she has strong feelings to kill.
The people she has contact with is the person who locks in her door at night and the UPS delivery guy. These contacts are just through the door. She has a new client who is into things she isn’t comfortable with and is concerned about a young child who she feels is in trouble. You have to read the book to find out what she does. I learned a lot more than I needed to know about being a cam girl and what they do for a living. Again, beware when you read this book if you don’t like that kind of thing then this book isn’t for you. The author did a great job in her writing and getting you involved in the story. I liked the book because it went into the characters past to help you understand why she is this way but that she also isn’t all that bad because she wants to help this child.
Do Not Disturb Review

This is the second book in this series. This book continues with Deanna and Jeremy getting to know each better. Deanna still does her camming but is slowing down some. She goes out more but is still inside before 9 pm. There is a new twist with a new client that she gets on her website. This client has just been released from jail. This book goes into more detail about her fantasy of killing. I liked this book but not as much as the first. I am glad it goes more into her relationship with Jeremy, but I would like it to go into more of her trying to get help and overcome her desire of killing. There is one more book in this series and I will read it to see if the author goes into healing her fantasy. I would also like to see if Jeremy will continue to be in love with her when or if she tells him the full truth about herself.
If You Dare Review

I liked this third book the best. In this book she has a temporary mind loss or block. It goes through her process of trying to remember what happened. Her view of Simon and his sister, who is a new character in this book, and who he is. The police come to her apartment and start asking her questions and she is confused and guarded. She isn’t sure why they are there and she jis trying to figure out what they want and why Jeremy hasn’t called her or calling her back. This is my type of book with more mystery and less sex. It’s kind of hard to tell you what happens because you need to read the first two books because it leads up to this book. You should read all the books in this series.
