
This wrap-up is for the week of April 1st-April 7th. I read a total of 9 books which brings my yearly reading total to 116 books. These books totaled 2,703 pages.

The Green Mile By: Stephen King
I gave this book 5 stars. I have watched the movie several times but never read the book. I finally picked up the booked and loved it. The movie is so close to the book that I knew what was happening and could picture things. Now there were things that weren’t in the movie and only in the book, you get more information about Paul and his coworkers in the book. If you really want to know
this then read the book.

Cheer Up: Love and Pompoms By: Crystal Frasier
I gave this graphic novel 4 stars. Transgender girl is made the cheerleading Captain. Her first captain demand is to allow a young lady whom everyone hates to join the team. They both end up learning something and are able to make changes not only to themselves but to others around them.

Patty Reed’s Doll: The story of the Donner Party By: Rachel K. Laurgaard
I gave this book 5 stars. From the viewpoint of the doll. She tells the story of the travels to California. The struggles of surviving. Not everything in is told in this book because it is a kid’s book.

Murder in an Irish Village By: Carlene O’Connor
I gave this book 3 stars. Naomi’s bistro is run by Siobhan and her five siblings after the death of their mom. It has been a long year for all of them and then it gets rougher when they discover a dead man at one of their tables with a pair of scissors in his chest. Can they find the killer before things get worse.

Rhythm and Clues By: Olivia Blacke

A Court of Frost and Starlight By: Sarah J. Maas
I gave this book 3 stars. Rebuilding the Night court is keeping them busy. The world is altered and recovering from the war which has changed everything.

Lore Olympus Volume Four By: Rachel Smythe
I gave this graphic novel 4 stars. Persephone and Hades have feelings for each other, but they struggle telling each other. Apollo won’t leave Persephone alone even though she tells him she doesn’t like him. Zeus is seeking help from Persephone’s mom to hide his mistresses from Hera.

Erased Volume 1 By: Kei Sanbe
I gave this manga 3 stars. A young man has a since when something bad is going to happen. Once this happens, he looks around until he sees a sign and then takes action. He gets hurt after one of these events and his mom comes to visit. During her visits she sees something and is later killed because of it. When he comes home to find his mom dead, he is very upset and demands to go back in time to prevent her death. When he goes back, he goes back to 1988 where something else happened in his life. Now he has to figure out what to do to prevent the things that happened back then and then how to get back to before his mom was killed.

That Way Madness Lies Edited By: Dahlia Adler
I gave this short story collection 4 stars. 15 different authors write a retelling story to one of Shakespeare’s work. I enjoyed the retellings almost as much as some of his work.
