
this wrap-up is for the week of March 25th-March 31st. I read 17 books which brings my yearly reading total to 107 books. These books totaled 3,639 pages. So, before I begin you might want to grab a drink and a snack again.

Free Lunch By: Rex Ogle
I gave this book 3 stars. Rex gets free lunches which isn’t cool. He is a poor kid in a wealthy school. His mom is not nice and sales some of his things along with other things to get money to survive. There are some trigger points in this book and the main one is she is abusive towards Rex at times.

Big Sister Coco: The Birthday Surprise By: Jesse Byrd
I gave this short graphic novel 3 stars. Coco and her brother go on a hide and seek adventure to find his birthday present. Once they find it, they are surprised that they are going to the water park. At the water park they have fun and more adventures.

Sir Morien By: Holly Black
I gave this picture book 4 stars. Morien goes in search of his father who went to find King Arthur.

Lightfall: Shadow of the Bird By: Tim Probert
I gave this book 4 stars. The quest is to find the bird of light and destroy it. All isn’t what it seems to be.

Saga Volume 11 By: Brian K Vaughan
I gave this graphic novel 4 stars. Things are getting weird and a little confusing. It’s been a while since I read volume 10 so i found myself lost at times while reading. Enemies helping each other. The young wanting their dead fathers to come back Mother trying to protect her children anyway she can.

The Puppets of Spelhorst By: Kate DiCamillo
I gave this book 4 stars. This is a sad story about an old man who is lonely until one day he sees a girl puppet in a toy store window. The puppet reminds him of a lost love. Once the man is gone the puppets, he just bought are sold to a man who gives them to his nieces. The older niece writes a play for the puppets to perform, and this is the play.

I gave this book 3 stars. A scandalous tryst in the library. What was it and who was involved?

Their Vicious Games By: Joelle Wellington
I gave this book 4 stars. Adena is on a scholarship to go to the prestigious Edgewater Academy. She can’ afford to make a mistake or she is out. One day she gets into a fight, and she is done, or is she? There is a way for her to get back to the Academy all she has to do is enter in this contest at the founding family house. Is it worth it? You have to read the book to find out.

The Umbrella Makers Son By: Katrina Leno
I gave this book 4 stars. Money is tight. It rains all the time, and his father makes umbrella’s so you would think they would be ok. The umbrellas are expensive because they are made to withstand the elements and last. So, to help his father Oscar is forced to quit school and work alongside of his father.

Monstress: Inferno Volume 8 By: Marjorie Liu
I gave this graphic novel 3 stars. As this story continues it gets weirder and I’m struggling to understand what is happening. Zinn is back, but still has his host but only her head. Kippa wants to help but is pushed away same as Ren the cat.

Click By: Kayla Miller
I gave this book 4 stars. Cute middle grade graphic novel. The fifth graders are putting on a talent show but Olive feels left out. Until one night she has an idea of what she wants to do. you will have to read it to find out what she decides to do.

Legrand Richards Beloved Apostle By: Lucile C. Tate
I gave this book 5 stars. This book is about LeGrand Richards. It takes us through his personal life as a person, missionary, and an apostle He has led a great and inspiring life.

Once Ghosted, Twice Shy By: Alyssa Cole
I gave this book 3 stars. Likotski’s heart was broken once before by Fabiola. Now in New York they surprisingly see each again. Will this time work out or not.

Tidesong By: Wendy Xu
I gave this book 4 stars. Another cute middle grade graphic novel. A young witch must train to go to the academy. She is impatient and selfish. Can she change her ways and learn what is important.

Secrets of Camp Whatever By: Chris Grine
I gave this graphic novel 4 stars. Willow doesn’t want to go to summer camp. Willow is also deaf. Once she gets their things are not what they seem. Her and her new friends start to investigate and find out somethings that have been a secret for a long time.

Can’t Escape Love By: Alyssa Cole
I gave this book 3 stars. A wheelchair bound woman hires a gentleman’s voice to help her sleep at night. All she wants is his voice recorded but he actually wants a little more, so they face time. Is she up to this or not.

The Mona Lisa Vanishes By: Nicholas Day
I gave this book 5 stars. This is about the theft of the Mona Lisa and what was done or not done to recover it. It also has chapter about the artist and the model. This is a middle grade and I enjoyed reading it and it was so easy to understand.
