Pride, Prejudice and Poison By: Elizabeth Blake
I gave this book 3 stars. Cozy mystery based on Jane Austen. I’m not a huge fan of Jane Austen works. I liked that it was mostly set in a bookstore.
Opal by: Maggie Stiefvater
Part of the Raven Cycle series. This book takes place after the events of the Raven King.
The Chain By: Adrian McKinty
This is a reread for me. I gave it 5 stars. What would you do if you got a phone call telling you one of your children has just been kidnapped. The only way you can get them back is to kidnap another child. This really makes you think.
Warrior Girl Unearthed By: Angeline Boulley
I gave this book 3 stars. Indigenous women are disappearing. Greedy grave robbers are making a profit off the Anishinaabe tribe. A troublemaking teen wants to put a stop to it all.
White Fox in the Forest By: Chen Jiatong
I gave this book 4 stars. Dilah and his friends continue their quest of find the knowledge of becoming human.
Big By: Vashti Harrison
I gave this book 4 stars. 2024 award winner. Book about how our words can be hurtful to others.
