This book is based on the WWII. The book is about a zookeeper and his wife their names are Jan and Antonina Zabinski and they live in Poland.
She has a special way with animals and people go to them for help. People know they can count on her to help the baby animals who don’t have mom’s or non-caring moms.
This finally leads to her helping with the Jews.
Her husband uses the zoo like an underground railroad.
If you like history and want to learn more about this war and how it affected the people and countries
this is a good book and based off a true story.
I enjoyed this book and think you should read it also. I haven’t watched the movie yet, but it is on my list to watch.
