I would like to Scholastic Press for allowing me to read and review this book. Sorry it took me so long to get it read.
Book Review:
I gave this book 4 stars. It is a cute magical book. Every year twelve years old are sorted into covens. This year is no different. Seven finds herself as part of the spare coven which is looked down upon. Just before the covens are sealed Seven invokes her only option: the impossible task before the covens are sealed. This prolongs her coven from being outcasts. Their task is to defeat the dreaded Nightbeast. They have 21 days to do so and if they fail, they will be turned into toads. This book was great on family representatives and friendship. Also, all doesn’t seem to be as displayed. The coven has to learn to work together and to get over hurt feelings from the past. They learn things about themselves and the small town they live in.
I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
