Book Review:
I had a great time reading this book. I gave it 4 stars. This is the third book in a series, which is called A Grilled Cheese Mystery. What I like about this type of book is that you really don’t need to read the books in order to understand what is happening. This is the second book I have read in the series and I have been able to figure out the relationships between the characters. I haven’t read the first book yet, but plan on it soon.
In this book Carly agrees to cater a bridal shower. Everything is going great until the groom to be arrives and an argument ensues with his intended. Later the groom to be is found dead at the bottom of the stairs. It comes to find out that his drink was poisoned. Where did he get the drink and what kind of poison?
It is up to Carly to find out what happened because her friend is being accused of the murder. Someone is also missing and they don’t know where she is and the police are keeping it under wraps until more information is forth coming. Carly is also looking into this and she thinks that the two are related.
Can Carly figure out both cases without getting herself into trouble? You will have to read the book to find out.
This book has great friendship representation and I love how Carly’s partner tries to help her with encouragement but also worries about her and tries to change her mind a few times.
