I would like to thank both Chicken House and The Amazon Vine program for allowing me to read and review this book.

Good Reads Synopsis:

A young white fox called Dilah returns home to find his mother gravely injured. Before she dies, she tells him about a treasure with the power to make animals human. The clues to its location are contained in a moonstone buried beneath their den. But wicked blue foxes seek the treasure too and Dilah must race to find it first. Along the way, he meets all sorts of other creatures: a friendly seal, an ancient tortoise and a fierce leopard – but can he stay one step ahead?

Book Review:

I gave this book 4 stars. I just loved it and hated it at the same time. Poor Dilah had a lot to deal with in his life. The loss of his brother and then the loss of his parents. How he both loved the humans and feared them at the same time. I loved how he even though he got delayed on his quest he always had it at the back of his mind. He made friends along the way and always stood beside them when things happened. I love the pictures in the book also. I can’t wait to continue the series because book one left you on a cliff hanger.
