His Hideous Heart Edited by Dahlia Adler

I gave this book 3 stars. 13 different authors take on 13 different tales by Edgar Allan Poe. They do a great job retelling the stories in a different way. For the most part I liked the retellings better the original tales. This was the second time of reading Poe’s work.

All the Crooked Saints By: Maggie Stiefvater

I gave this book 3 stars. This book has been on my TBR for a long time, and I finally got around to reading it. It was just ok. Everyone wants a miracle. Everyone fears what it takes to get one. One family can give you these miracles but at what cost.

Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you think about them? Let’s chat in the comments below. Until next time, keep reading.
