Weekly Wrap-Up

These are the books I read for the week of October 31st-November 6th. I read 5 books which brings my yearly reading total to 271 books. These books totaled 1,624 pages.

Brother Brigham By: Eugene England

I gave this book 4 stars. This is about Brigham Young and his life of leadership over the Mormon church.

The Librarian Spy By: Madeline Martin

I gave this book 4 stars.

A librarian is offered a position from the US Military as a spy to help with the wr.

In France another woman is working as a printer for a paper. Nazis are trying to find this under ground press.

These two women connect with each other through coded messages.

The Return By: Nicholas Sparks

I gave this book 4 stars.

Trevor comes home from Afghanistan with severe injuries.

At home tends his grandfather’s beehives and gets to know the deputy sheriff, Natalie.

There is a teenager, Callie who is living in a trailer park down the road who has befriended Trevor’s grandfather.

Natalie and Callie have a secret. What is their secret and how does it affect Trevor?

The Wingfeather Saga: The Monster in the Hollows By: Andrew Peterson

The Paris Library By: Janet Skeslien Charles

I gave this book 4 stars.

WWII has broken out and as it continues Jews are restricted from doing things. They can no longer go to the library and so some of the librarians decide to bring the library to them.

1983 is about a young girl who is dealing with the death of her mom and the remarriage of her father. Her elderly neighbor is alone and is acting funny. She befriends her which ends up helping both of them in the long run.
