Weekly Wrap-Up

This wrap-up is for the week of August 29th-September 4th. I read 5 books, which brings my yearly reading total to 222books. These books totaled 1,007 pages.

The Guncle By: Steven Rowley

I gave this book 3 stars. This is about an uncle who finds himself the guardian of his niece and nephew. This is a new role for him, and he is struggling. He is also trying to get his acting career off the floor.

The Wing Feather Saga #1: On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness By: Andrew Peterson

I gave this book 3 stars. In this book kids need to leave their home because someone or something is after them. They end up in a deadly forest where their adventures begin.

Pembrick’s Creaturepedia By: Andrew Peterson

I gave this book 4 stars. This little book is about the creatures found in the Wingfeather Saga stories. The drawings are great, and the information given to each one of them.

Zoey and Sassafras Caterflies and Ice By: Asia Citro

I gave this book 4 stars. Book 4 of adventuring with Zoey and Sassafras. Spring has brought a surprise snowstorm. Caterflies just laid their eggs and need help to keep them warm.

Spy X Family Volume 7 By: Tatsuya Endo

I gave this manga 4 stars. The stories continue. In this volume Anya wins an ocean trip and learns to play old maid. This is the last printed volume for now. Volume 8 is due out soon.

Not my best reading week but that is ok. Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you think about them? Until next time, keep reading.
