I gave this book 4 stars. This is about a young lady who discovers she is a monster. She has fallen for a young man who happens to a be a monster slayer. Can their feelings for each other overcome their differences.
Things We Do in the Dark By: Jennifer Hillier
I gave this book 4 stars. The book starts out with Paris being arrested for the murder of her husband. Then it flashes back to a time in her life that she remembers the start of her troubles. It was a good story and you felt for her and the choices she made.
Mischief, Murder and Merlot By: J.C. Eaton

Razorblade Tears By: S.A. Cosby
I gave this book 3 stars. This is about two fathers in search for the killer or killers of their sons. The fathers are ex-cons. The sons are gay and married to each other. The fathers are after revenge and understanding the choices their sons made. Here is the kicker. One is white and one is black. They work together to accomplish this and one more thing to deal with the prejudice that they have towards one another.
The Cracked Spine By: Paige Shelton
I gave this book 4 stars. A 19-year-old girl named Delaney moves to Scotland after she answers an ad in the paper. She is to work in a bookshop. The owner’s sister is found dead one day. Is it murder or did she overdose? Delaney is curious and wants to help her boss so goes to investigate.
Monsters and Mold By: Asia Citro
I gave this book 4 stars. Second book in the series. Zoey and Sassafras try to help a monster with a mold issue.
Spy Family Volume 6 By: Tatsuya Endo
I gave this manga 4 stars. As the drama continues in this make-believe family. Loid’s partner wants to replace his fake wife with herself. His fake wife is jealous and doesn’t want to give up the family. Meanwhile the little girl is trying to figure out how to become friends with the boy who Loid wants her to know so he can get to his father. One day Loid is able to meet this boy and the boy introduces him to his father.
Merhorses and Bubbles By: Asia Citro
I gave this book 4 stars. Their adventures continue. In this they are trying to help the Merhorses and the stream. Somehow the stream has gone from being clean to populated.
The House Across the Lake By: Riley Sager
I gave this book 4 stars. He does it again. I loved the twists and turns in the story.
