The Ogress and the Orphans By: Kelly Barnhill
I gave this book 4 stars. I enjoyed this book. This teaches you that people aren’t whom they seem to be. This small town wanted the Ogres to be taken care of because they would harm the children. While in fact an Ogress was helping the orphans from starving by leaving food items at the door.

Delilah Green Doesn’t Care By: Ashley Herring Blake
I gave this book 3 stars. This is her first adult book. It was okay but I prefer her middle grade better. This is about Delilah, who goes back home for her stepsister’s wedding. Delilah has always felt like an outsider and lonely with her family so to cover up she gave the attitude of not caring. While back home she meets up with some of her sister’s friends and discovers she wants to be with one of them for her time there. While home she discovers things she never knew or refused to acknowledge when she was younger. This is her story.

Shinji Takahashi and the Mark of the Coatl By: Julie Kagawa
I gave this book 4 stars. This is the first time I have read her writing. It was fun joining the children on their adventures. Can’t wait for the sequel.

The Nature of Witches By: Rachel Griffin
I gave this book 4 stars. This is about a young witch who has trouble controlling her power. She accidently killed her first teacher because she was unable to control her power. She is put into a school to help her. She is so afraid of losing control again and has trust issues. This is how she figures out how to regain her self-worth and trust.

Who Was Isaac Newton By: Janet B. Pascal
I gave this book 4 stars. This is a quick read. This is a great way for children to learn about some famous people in our history. I actually learned something while reading this book. Not much is taught in the schools these days about this person.

Spy x Family Volume 4 By: Tatsuya Endo
I gave this manga 4 stars. This is continuing the story of the fake family. In this book they get a dog.

The American Claimant By: Mark Twain
I gave this book 3 stars. This is supposed to be a comedy. I didn’t find very funny.

The Body in the Library By: Agatha Christie
I gave this book 4 stars. This book starts out with a body. This body is found in one of the halls of the library. The body is of a young lady. The book goes into who is the young lady and why was she killed.
