Five of the Oldest Books on my Shelves

4 of these books were in the family. The other one I received from someone but don’t remember who gave it to me.

This is the book that was given to me.

This one was given to my father-in-law in 1946.

My Great Aunt gave this to me in 1976. It was her husband’s and he received it in 1931. It is a communion book.

This is a Handbook for American Citizens and was given to my Great Grandpa by his mother in 1896.

This little book was given to my mom by her teacher.

I have always enjoyed the old books and use to have a lot more, but I have moved a lot and had to depart with most of them. These I have kept because that are part of the family.
