This weekly wrap-up is for the week of March 21st -March 27th. I read five books which brings my yearly reading total to 80 books. These books total 1,429 pages.

The Extraordinaries By: TJ Klune
I gave this book 4 stars. It is the first book in a series. This is about a young man who wants to be a hero like his crush. He will go to no ends to do so. The book starts out slow but picks up about 25% through.

The Lost Apothecary By: Sarah Penner
I gave this book 4 stars. It was slow about 50% through and I almost DNF it. This is about a woman who goes to Londan for her anniversary without her husband because she got him with another woman. She is dealing with a lot of things, and one is what to do about her marriage. While she is in London, she discovers a vial with a strange liquid inside. This is where she starts looking into the past of this said vial. Once the story picked up, I had a great time going along with her on her adventure.

Starfish By: Lisa Fipps
I gave this middle-grade book 4 stars. It is about Ellie who is overweight and is bullied about it. Not only by her classmates but by her siblings and Mother. She does have a couple of friends who don’t mind her weight and her father tries to stand up for her in the home. In this story you go with her on her journey to speak up for herself and learn to love herself.

On The Way Home By: Laura Ingalls Wilder
This is a reread for me and so of course it was a 5-star read for me. This book is the journal of their trip from South Dakota to Missouri.

The Quiet Girl By: SF Kosa
I gave this book 4 stars. At first, I was afraid this was going to be another Gone Girl book. Then as I was reading on, I thought it was going to be about multiple personalities. I was wrong on both parts which I am glad about. This book takes you on many twists and turns and it was a joy to read.
Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you think? Let’s chat in the comments down below. Until next time, keep reading.
