Closer To Nowhere By: Ellen Hopkins
I gave this book 4 stars. It is a middle- grade told in Verse. It is a quick read and very heart warming. This is about a family who has taken in a nephew who has lost his mom and his dad is in jail. This tells how they get along and deal with lose.
The Last WindWitch By: Jennifer Adam
I gave this middle-grade 4 stars. This is about a young girl who wants to make her magic work. This has some adventures and some rough going for her.
Pashmina By: Nidhi Chanani
I gave this middle-grade graphic novel 4 stars. This is about a young girl who is trying to understand why her mom came to America from India.
Fast Pitch By: Nic Stone
I gave this middle-grade 4 stars. This is about a young girl who loves baseball and finds out it actually runs in the family. There is a small mystery that she wants to understand and actually solves it.
Out of the Easy By: Ruta Sepetys
This historical Fiction got a 4 star rating from me. This is about a girl who wants to better herself by going to college. She first has to get a recommendation letter and she decides to go to a wealthy man who goes to a brothel and wants to keep this a secret. There is also a death that happens and she finds herself messed up with it.
When Life gives you Mangos By: Kereen Getten
I gave this middle-grade book 4 stars. This is about Clara who has lost her memory after a hurricane. She has dreams that mention somethings that happens but she can’t figure out what. She is slowly learning about what happened and she discovers something about herself that only one other person knows because it has happened to him.

Blanca and Roja By: Anna-Marie McLemore
I gave this Young Adult 3 stars. This book is about two who are dealing with an old family tradition. One of the sisters upon her 16th birthday is turned over to the swans. The swans actually pick the sister. This time the girls try to trick the swans. Do they win or do they lose. You must read the book.
Honey Girl By: Morgan Rogers
I gave this romance book 3 stars. This was my least book this week. This is about a lady who wakes up married to another woman and doesn’t remember the actually act.
