This is for the week of October 18th -October 24th. I read a total of 4 books which brings my yearly reading total to 310 books. These books totaled 1,407 pages.
Hot Dog Girl By: Jennifer Dugan
I gave this YA book 3 stars. I have heard about this book and wanted to read it. It was a okay read. This is about a girl who lands a job at the magic castle playland for the summer. She soon finds out that this will be closing if they don’t do something about it. It is also about young love and friendships.
The Four Winds By: Kristin Hannah
I gave this historical fiction 5 stars. This was my favorite book of the week. This is about the dust bowl and everything that goes with it. The end will surprise you. I had a great time reading this book and I cried which is always good because it made me feel.
Cattywampus By: Ash Van Otterloo
I gave this middle-grade a 3 star. This is about two girls who want to learn how to use their witchcraft but their parents don’t want them to. Things happen and the two have an exciting adventure.
Majesty By: Katharine McGee
I gave this YA book a 3 star. This is the final book in the American Royals duology. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to read this book because I gave the first book the same rating. I was interested enough to find out what happens to the four girls. Three of the girls I was happy for and the other I thought she got lucky and I really didn’t like her and she shouldn’t have been that lucky. I am glad I read it but wasn’t a huge fan.
