Weekly Wrap-Up

KODAK Digital Still Camera

This wrap-up is for the week of September 13th-September 19th, I read a total of 3 books which brings my 2021 yearly reading total to 274 books. These books totaled 700 pages. It has been a busy week and not a whole lot reading got done.

The Empress of Salt and Fortune By: Nghi Vo

This book is a short read. I was suppose to read this back a few months for a book club. I gave it 3 stars. This is about a girl who is sent south to for a political marriage. This takes place in China where this is common practice.

When The Tiger Came Down the Mountain By: Nghi Vo

This is another book that takes place in China. It is also short and I gave it 3 stars. This is about a small group of people who have to deal with tigers with a fierce hungry. They must unwind the tale of the lead tiger and his loverr who is a woman.

The Cottingley Secret By: Hazel Gaynor

I also gave this book 3 stars. This is a loose historical fiction if you even want to call it that. This book is about a town in Ireland and two girls who discover fairies. This happens during the first world war around 1917.

As you can tell I had an average week of reading. Maybe that is another reason that I didn’t get much reading done. I am close to having two other books read but that will have to wait until week.

What have you read recently? I would like to know. Until next time, keep reading.
