Wrap-Up Numbers:
This reading wrap-up is for the week of August 22nd-August 28th. I read 4 books which brings my 2021 reading total to 251 books. The total pages I read was 1,063 pages. This was a good reading week with all the books receiving a 4 star rating.

Bat and the Waiting Game By: Elana K. Arnold
This book is about a young boy named Bat who is taking care of a skunk kit that lost his mother. Bat also has autism. This is the second book in a trilogy about Bat. This book was a quick read, and I had a great time reading this book.

Bat and the End of Everything By: Elana K. Arnold
This is the last book in the Bat trilogy. Things are changing, and Bat is having a rough time adjusting to that. In this book the skunk has to be released out to the wild. How is Bat going to deal with that? If he going to deal with it? This is another quick read and I highly recommend this series for you and your children to read.

The Lions of Fifth venue By: Fiona Davis
This book is a dual timeline, historical fiction. The book is set in New York. The building it’s about is a library that has apartment on the top for the superintendent to live in. There is a hidden dumbwaiter in the building that becomes an important part of the story. The two time lines are 1913 and 1993. I have always enjoyed Fiona Davis’ writing and recommend her books. This book is about a library, the important contents of the library, and how women’s lives and roles evolved in the 80 year span.

A Prince on Paper By: Alyssa Cole
This is the fifth book in the Reluctant Royals series. You really don’t have the read the books in order because each book is about a different person, their life, and their love interest. The series is good, and I read them in between heavier reads to give my mind a break. These books can get a little steamy, so if you don’t like sexual content in your books I don’t recommend reading them.
Week Wrap Up:
The last two weeks have been busy for me, so I didn’t get a lot of reading done. I am glad that the books I did pick up have been good. What do you think? Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you think of them? Do you agree with my ratings?
Until next time, keep reading.
