Barnes and Noble Early August Book Haul

I went to Barnes and Noble on the 2nd of August and these are the books that I bought. I am missing two books from this stack; one is a Christmas gift, and the other just didn’t make it onto the stack. Now, here’s my book haul!

KODAK Digital Still Camera

Paola Santiago and the Forest of Nightmares By: Tehlor Kay Mejia

This is the book that didn’t make it onto the stack. I have read and reviewed this book already. You can read that review HERE.

The Memory of Babel By: Christelle Dabos

This is the third book in The Mirror Visitor Series. I haven’t read the other two, even though I own them. However, I actually need to read them soon because I received this book as an e-arc to review. I’ll be sure to post it once it’s done!

Love Her or Lose Her By: Tessa Bailey

This is the second book in Bailey’s Hot and Hammered Series. I own the first book in the series, and there is another book in the series that should be out soon. I have heard a lot of good things about her writing, so I want to give her books a try.

Waiting For Tom Hanks By: Kerry Winfrey

I didn’t realize this is the first book in a duology, but I have seen this book many times and finally decided to pick it up. I enjoy Tom Hanks’s acting, so decided to read it. If I enjoy it, I will have to pick up the next book too.

It Happened One Summer By: Tessa Bailey

This is also by Tessa Bailey, and it is part of a duology. I need to read this one for a book club I’m in, but I have no idea with this book is about. All I know is that it is a romance.

Siege and Storm By: Leigh Bardugo

This is the second book in Bardugo’s GrishaVerse Series. I own most of this series, but I need one more book in it before I can read it. I could start reading before I get the whole series, but I really want to binge it. I have heard great things about this world and can’t wait to get into it.

Karma Moon Ghost Hunter By: Melissa Savage

This is another book that I received as an e-arc but never got around to reading before it was released. This is a middle grade book, and I really want to get into this story.

The Box in the Woods By: Maureen Johnson

This is the fourth and final book in Johnson’s Truly Devious series. I have read the first book and really enjoyed it, so I really need to finish up the series. I might have to reread the first book before I do, because it’s been a while since I read it.

The Forest of Vanishing Stars By: Kristin Harmel

This book is set during the second World War. I have heard great things about it, so I want to give it a read. I enjoy reading historical fiction, so can’t wait to dive in.

All’s Well By: Mona Awad

I bought this book because it’s August’s book for the Literally Dead Book Club. I hope this one is better than Awad’s other book Bunny, as I didn’t enjoy that book at all. I do like to give author’s a second try though.

The Personal Librarian By: Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray

Again, I have heard nothing but great things about this book. It is another historical fiction book that takes place in the early 1900’s. As someone who likes historical fiction and works in a library myself, I have high hopes for this read.

Conclusion:

As you can see I have bought quite a few books to read! Some of them are part of series I haven’t started or barely started, so that’s even more for me to do. I hope you enjoyed this haul and maybe you found something you want to try.

Have you read any of these books? If you have what did you think of them? If you want to buddy read any of these standalones or series let me know.

Until next time keep reading.
